This opportunity places you on a MedSurg/Tele unit renowned for handling a wide spectrum of patient diagnoses, including cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and observation cases. With access to advanced resources (such as 24/7 respiratory therapy, remote telemetry, and on-site intensivists), you’ll see first-hand the dynamic collaboration of healthcare teams using EPIC (minimum 6 months experience required), state-of-the-art IV pumps, and advanced monitoring systems. Floating among several facilities within the region will further your experience with differing leadership styles and protocols, providing unmatched variety and professional development.

Flexible scheduling includes 12-hour shifts (0645-1915 or 1845-0715), weekend rotation every other weekend, and the chance for up to six days off (excluding holidays). Staff enjoy free parking and a positive, team-oriented environment where support roles like charge nurses, CNAs, and phlebotomy help ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• 18+ months of recent MedSurg/Tele RN experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips, general Med/Surg skillset
• At least 6 months EPIC EMR experience

Key Duties:

• Provide comprehensive care for varied medical and telemetry patients, focusing on cardiac and neuro conditions
• Perform IV starts, wound care, and use of tubes/drains
• Administer/troubleshoot blood products
• Collaborate across disciplines and adjust to floating within the system as needed
