Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license, eligible for Vermont
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Demonstrated proficiency with patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, competent care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Med-Surg unit
- Manage admissions, treatments, monitoring, and discharges in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families, ensuring clear understanding of care plans and discharge instructions
