Registered Nurse Med Surg | Spring Lake, Michigan

Seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care within a collaborative hospital environment on a contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive interdisciplinary team and treat a diverse patient population.

Schedule details:

• Multiple shifts available, including nights, days, and mid-shifts
• 12-hour shifts, three days a week
• Typical shift example: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license in good standing
• At least one year of recent nursing experience in a Medical Surgical (Med Surg) setting
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing documentation
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Excellent communication and patient education skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care for adult Med Surg patients following best practices and hospital protocols
• Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs, medical histories, and care interventions
• Administer medications, therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families on treatments, procedures, and ongoing care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely records to ensure continuity of care and patient safety

$2,130 - $2,253/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
