Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Stone Mountain, Georgia

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00)
• Every other weekend required (unless specified otherwise)
• Floating between units as needed
• No call requirements
• Must be available to work major holidays depending on assignment period

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• First-time contract nurses are welcomed
• BLS certification required
• Experience with adult to geriatric patient populations
• Capable of managing Medical/Surgical patients, especially those with renal focus including HD catheters, Manual PD/PD cycler, CKD, sepsis, UTI, and hypertension emergencies
• Comfort with additional responsibilities such as tele monitoring and ETOH (CIWA) management

Position Highlights & Responsibilities:

• Care for a patient ratio of 1:6 within a 20-room adult/geriatrics unit (average daily census: 18)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR tools for accurate communication and documentation
• Deliver high-quality patient-centered care; monitor and assess patient status, administer treatments, and respond to emergencies
• Work in compliance with all onboarding and facility-specific requirements; timely completion of orientation and clinical screening necessary for assignment start
