Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based care to adult patients with varying diagnoses and acuity levels
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and respond to clinical changes promptly
• Coordinate with physicians, ancillary staff, and families to create and implement care plans
• Perform thorough patient assessments, update charting, and report on patient conditions
• Educate patients and families about health management, post-discharge instructions, and resources
• Uphold infection control and patient safety protocols at all times
• Support patients through pre- and post-operative procedures as needed
