Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Summerville, SC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in medical-surgical nursing required
• Demonstrated expertise in wound care, including wound assessment, treatment plans, and ongoing management
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and protocols
• Proficient documentation and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• BLS certification; additional wound care certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for patients with diverse medical-surgical diagnoses
• Deliver advanced wound care, including dressing changes, wound evaluation, and application of specialized treatments
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize complications, and respond promptly to changes
• Provide education to patients and families regarding wound management and post-discharge care
• Collaborate with providers and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and care interventions in electronic medical records
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and ethical standards at all times

$2,081 - $2,202/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
