Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Sun Prairie, WI

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time hours, varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• Demonstrated experience in a med-surg setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient-care planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in both acute and post-acute medical-surgical units.
• Monitor patient status, document observations, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, care routines, and post-discharge instructions.
• Participate actively in shift hand-offs and multidisciplinary huddles to ensure quality, continuity, and safety of patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in electronic medical records.
