This travel opportunity is perfect for experienced Registered Nurses seeking to deepen their skillset while working in a 44-bed, 40-staff Med-Surg environment. Exposure to different approaches in patient care, leadership styles, and team dynamics will enhance your resume and broaden your network within nursing. You’ll benefit from a comprehensive orientation (1 week, including EMR training) and floor-specific training (2 days), supporting your transition into a collaborative workplace.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts (6:45 am–7:15 pm/6:45 pm–7:15 am)
• Rotating days and nights
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed

Qualifications:

• RN license with minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience, including at least 1 prior travel assignment
• BLS and NIHSS certifications (American Heart Association required)
• EMR Meditech experience preferred, but not required
• Comfort with patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
• Willingness to float to acute care and cardiology as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care on a busy Med-Surg floor
• Collaborate with nurse aides and CNAs (ratios 1:8 to 1:10)
• Flexibly float to related units as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
• Ensure quality monitoring for patients on Tele, as necessary
