Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) in Sylvester, GA

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing role
• Proficiency with electronic health records and med-surg protocols
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to adult patients on a med-surg unit
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions
• Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and aftercare instructions
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
