Schedule/Hours:
- Schedule to be discussed during placement process, aligning with the needs of the MedSurg/Tele units.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications (Unit B also requires NIHSS and CPI, which can be obtained onsite).
- At least 2 years of MedSurg/Tele experience; first-time travelers are welcome.
- Comfortable working in both medical and behavioral health settings as needed.
- Proficient in direct and indirect patient care, telemetry strip reading, interpersonal and written communication, and managing moderate to high patient acuity.
Core Responsibilities:
- Care for patients with a wide range of general medical or behavioral health diagnoses, including diabetes, respiratory conditions, wounds, dementia, developmental delays, and more.
- Manage care interventions such as chest tubes, tracheostomies, PIV starts, and pain management pumps.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and utilize Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps.
