Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license and eligibility for practice
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and IV skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and charting systems
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred)
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient needs and unit priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, compassionate care to patients on a medical-surgical floor
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, vital signs, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care, disease processes, and discharge instructions
• Maintain patient safety, adhere to established protocols, and uphold infection control standards
• Participate in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
