Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Trinidad, CA

Deliver specialized and compassionate care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing. Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Med Surg hospital environment
• Strong clinical assessment, time management, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-driven setting
• Current BLS certification (required), ACLS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor patient status
• Administer medications and therapies as ordered
• Implement and update individualized care plans
• Accurately document interventions, progress, and patient outcomes
• Prioritize patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based practice
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and ongoing care needs
• Serve as a reliable resource and advocate for patients and the interdisciplinary team
