This contract opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse experienced in Medical-Surgical, Long Term Care, and Psychiatric settings to deliver top-tier patient care and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment teams.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract position
  • Rotating shifts; schedule to be discussed during interview

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a hospital or long-term care facility
  • Expertise in med-surg, psychiatric, and/or long-term care nursing
  • Knowledge of nursing best practices, patient assessment, and care plan development
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Proven ability to adapt to various patient care environments and work collaboratively with other clinicians
  • BLS certification required (additional certifications preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality nursing care to patients across medical-surgical, long-term care, and psychiatric units
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor responses
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in case conferencing
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
  • Uphold facility policies, safety protocols, and regulations
