Taking on this night shift RN role in a diverse med/surg, oncology, neuro, and palliative care environment presents a fantastic chance to broaden your clinical experience. With a 41-bed unit and exposure to a wide mix of patient needs, you’ll strengthen your expertise working with Alaris IV pumps and the EPIC EMR system. The position’s fast-paced setting and rotating responsibilities—including occasional floating—offer valuable insight into various workplace and leadership styles, enriching both your resume and skillset.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every third weekend; no call requirements

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years’ acute med/surg experience
• Active BLS certification
• Proficiency in assessment, IV and Foley insertion, NGT placement
• Flexibility to float as needed
• Strong communication, curiosity, commitment, and ability to connect with colleagues and patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and coordinate high-quality, compassionate care for med/surg, oncology, neuro, and palliative patients
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
• Document using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
