Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Trussville, Alabama

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Proficient in monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to rapid changes in patient status
• Effective communicator, able to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, delivering treatments, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications
• Implement and evaluate individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and allied health professionals
• Interpret telemetry data, recognize cardiac arrhythmias, and quickly intervene as appropriate
• Educate patients and families about medications, post-discharge care, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain meticulous and accurate patient records, documenting all care provided and any changes in condition
• Uphold safety protocols and adhere to infection control procedures at all times

$1,755 - $1,909/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
