Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Trussville, Alabama

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing environment
• Comprehensive understanding of nursing best practices for adult medical and surgical patients
• Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor, assess, and document patients’ conditions and responses to care
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures, medications, and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection prevention procedures

$1,620 - $1,763/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
