RN Med Surg | Vicksburg, Mississippi

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Med Surg experience to provide quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position spans 13 weeks and offers an opportunity to enhance clinical skills while supporting a dedicated care team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients following prescribed protocols

• Support patient education and advocate for patient well-being
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety regulations

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in Mississippi (or compact state) with Med Surg expertise
• Certified in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Permanent address located at least 50 miles from the facility
• Ability to work day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with rotating weekends
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
