Provide expert care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical units with a 12-hour evening shift schedule. Schedule and Hours:
- 12-hour evening shifts, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend rotation (6 shifts every 6 weeks)
- Holiday coverage required for about 75% of holidays on average
- Possible floating to Baldwin as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and assist with treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call rotation and call back as necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with clinical protocols
- Engage in ongoing clinical interview process, including initial screening and final manager approval
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with Medical-Surgical experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle a rotating weekend and holiday schedule
- Willingness to float to alternate locations when required
