Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) in Warner Robins, GA

Qualifications:

• Valid, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting
• Strong commitment to patient safety and collaborative care

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a med-surg/telemetry setting
• Continuously monitor patient status, including cardiac rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on condition management and post-discharge instructions
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and best practices in patient care
