Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Waverly, NY

Schedule & Hours:

• Full-time schedule, specific shifts tailored to facility needs

Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) or Telemetry units
• Proficiency in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and care coordination
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to document care accurately and promptly using electronic medical records

Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, individualized nursing care to diverse patient populations in Med Surg and Telemetry
• Monitor, assess, and report changes in patient condition to physicians and healthcare team members
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update comprehensive patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care processes, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
