Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - West Hartford, Connecticut

Key Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) and Telemetry units required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess telemetry and Med Surg patients, documenting vital signs and changes in status
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Communicate promptly and effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient care needs and changes
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Contribute to developing and executing individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all facility policies and regulations
