Key Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of one year experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing environment
  • Proficiency in clinical assessment, patient care planning, and medication administration
  • Thorough understanding of best practices in infection control and patient safety
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for med-surg patients
  • Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare staff
  • Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management
  • Maintain accurate and detailed healthcare records
