Become a vital team member in a fast-paced Intermediate Medical Unit, delivering exceptional patient care within a 37-bed telemetry setting. You'll work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary group, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment in a high-acuity environment focused on both growth and teamwork.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift
  • Consistent, predictable scheduling

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license (state compact or Kansas)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Strong clinical acumen, sound critical-thinking skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Positive, engaged attitude essential for high-functioning team environments
  • Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
  • Previous experience in telemetry or IMU settings highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients with complex cardiac and medical needs
  • Monitor and assess patients utilizing telemetry technology and advanced clinical skills
  • Manage central lines, medication drips, heart catheterization recovery, bubble studies, and more
  • Collaborate with a dedicated unit team: day shifts include 8 RNs, 3 patient care techs, and a unit clerk
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with medical team members and families
  • Utilize and troubleshoot PCA and IV pumps, chest tubes, and additional specialty equipment as required
