Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze patient health data to determine nursing diagnoses and care priorities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote health and safety.
- Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff.
- Collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers to foster healing and humane care.
- Provide education to patients, families, and care teams on health management.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to healthcare team members.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California—required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required as per department standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
