Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) in Wilton, ND

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients, including monitoring, assessment, planning, and intervention
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patients’ comfort and safety
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, healthcare staff, and families to implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in accordance with hospital policies
• Promote a healing environment by providing compassionate emotional support to patients and their loved ones
• Participate in discharge planning, patient education, and infection control measures
• Adhere to all facility protocols, regulations, and best practices
