Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours; shifts may vary based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population on the medical-surgical unit
  • Perform thorough patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient responses to treatment
  • Coordinate care alongside interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, procedures, medications, and post-discharge care
