Working as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse on a busy Acute Neuro Unit for a 13-week assignment, you’ll gain invaluable exposure to a broad range of neuro and surgical cases. Schedule:

• 1900-0730 (7p-7:30a), rotating Monday through Sunday
• 13-week assignment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from neurosurgery, neurology, ENT surgery, general surgery, or acute illnesses
• Conduct assessments and provide both partial and total care for patients, including those ambulatory and bedridden
• Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergent situations
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning
• Educate patients and families on recovery and ongoing health needs

Qualifications:

• RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute neuro or med-surg setting
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced unit and work collaboratively with a variety of specialties
