Registered Nurse Med Surg | Zeeland, Michigan

An exciting opportunity awaits an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with strong experience in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) care. This contract role calls for an RN skilled in managing diverse adult and geriatric patient populations in a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated competency in Med-Surg nursing
• Proven ability to deliver safe and effective patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Minimum of one year of recent Med-Surg nursing experience preferred
• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
• BLS certification (required); additional certifications considered a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and attentive nursing care to adult patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
• Accurately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments utilizing safe nursing practices
• Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and allied health staff
• Monitor patient progress, document clinical notes, and respond to health changes promptly
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Uphold infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in all aspects of care

$2,130 - $2,253/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
