Deliver exceptional care to newborns as a Registered Nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This contract role is ideal for compassionate, detail-oriented nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment dedicated to supporting fragile infants and their families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Level II or III NICU setting
  • Proficiency in assessments, monitoring, and interventions specific to neonatal patients
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal outcomes for neonates

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours
  • Shifts may include days, nights, and weekends based on facility needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to neonates from admission to discharge
  • Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in infant condition
  • Administer medication and specialized therapies as ordered by the medical team
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other clinical staff in patient care
  • Support, educate, and communicate with families regarding patient status and care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and NICU safety standards

$1,772 - $1,939/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
