Registered Nurse - NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) | Antioch, Tennessee

This direct hire opportunity welcomes experienced advanced practice providers to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, delivering exceptional care to critically ill and recovering infants—from their first moments in the delivery room through to discharge.

Schedule:

• All shifts available—variable 12 or 24-hour shifts (schedule assignment; no shift selection)

Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Licensed Nurse Practitioner (or ability to obtain within 3 months according to state requirements)
• Minimum of 2 years’ NICU experience required
• Master’s degree in Nursing required
• Extensive neonatal/critical care skill set as an RN-NICU or Nurse Practitioner
• Independent decision-making and patient management capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and document health histories for neonates, including comprehensive, system-focused, or symptom-specific assessments
• Deliver advanced care to critically ill and medically complex NICU patients
• Order, perform, interpret, and collect medical data and diagnostic procedures as indicated
• Develop differential diagnoses to treat acute and chronic neonatal conditions
• Prescribe and implement therapeutic interventions (pharmacologic, non-pharmacologic, surgical) to achieve patient-centric outcomes
• Provide delivery room services, neonatal transport, and serve as a consultation resource within scope of practice
• Coordinate transitions of care, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Participate in collaborative patient rounds and multidisciplinary treatment planning
• Complete necessary documentation efficiently and accurately
