Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in neonatal intensive care to deliver critical care to newborns. This is a contract opportunity for a skilled RN ready to support the needs of a busy NICU with dedication and professionalism.

Schedule:

  • 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week

Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Recent, relevant experience in a Level III or IV NICU environment
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
  • Rapid Response Team (RRT) experience required
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and responses to interventions
  • Initiate and implement individualized care plans and treatment protocols
  • Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, including participation in code and RRT situations
  • Administer medications, manage ventilators, and support complex medical interventions for neonates
  • Educate and support families through the care process and discharge planning
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
