Registered Nurse - NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) | Charlotte, North Carolina

Schedule & Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts (36 hours/week): 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Weekend rotation: 2 Fridays, 2 Mondays, and every other Saturday/Sunday during each 6-week scheduling period
• Holiday coverage as assigned

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current credentials in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Level III or IV NICU environment required
• Strong neonatal critical care assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Comfort with floating to related pediatric units when the NICU census allows

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, expert care to neonates with various medical needs in a fast-paced NICU
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans
• Support and educate families throughout the child’s NICU stay
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed, assisting in Pediatric CVICU, PICU, Gen Peds, and Neonatal PCU as a collaborative team member
• Ensure compliance with all applicable protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies
