Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent experience working in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities specific to neonatal patients
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and NICU monitoring equipment

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to critically ill or premature infants
• Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications, nutrition, and fluids as prescribed via complex equipment
• Collaborate and communicate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy staff
• Provide education and emotional support to parents and guardians
• Maintain meticulous documentation of care, treatments, and patient progress
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and safe NICU environment
