Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a NICU setting
  • BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Solid understanding of neonatal assessment, interventions, and family-centered care
  • Exceptional communication and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams and families during high-stress situations

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess critically ill newborns, providing comprehensive and timely care in accordance with established protocols
  • Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Identify changes in infants’ condition and implement appropriate interventions
  • Operate and maintain specialized neonatal equipment (ventilators, incubators, monitors)
  • Offer emotional support and education to families, ensuring they are fully informed and involved in their child’s care
  • Document all interventions and changes in patient status accurately and promptly
  • Participate actively in rounds, care coordination, and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure patient needs are met
