Registered Nurse - NICU - Clovis, CA

Deliver specialized and compassionate care for newborns in a high-acuity NICU setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for licensed Registered Nurses with neonatal intensive care experience, seeking a dynamic and supportive environment. Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• At least 1 year of recent NICU experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
• Strong ability to assess and monitor critically ill neonates
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in electronic medical records and relevant clinical documentation
• Commitment to delivering patient- and family-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, medication administration, and monitoring
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Implement and evaluate individualized care plans and interventions
• Maintain accurate, real-time clinical documentation
• Educate and support families throughout the course of their infant’s treatment
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives
• Adhere to infection control standards and hospital protocols
