Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience
  • Strong assessment skills and proficiency in neonatal care protocols
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Detail-oriented, with solid documentation and organizational capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for neonates with a variety of medical and surgical needs
  • Closely monitor and assess vital signs, symptoms, and progress of newborns
  • Administer medications, nutrition, and treatments as prescribed by the medical team
  • Educate and support families regarding infant care and hospital protocols
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Accurately document patient status, assessments, and interventions in medical records
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions

$1,772 - $1,939/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
