Registered Nurse - NICU - Fresno, CA

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working in a Level III or Level IV NICU
• Proficient in neonatal assessments, interventions, and monitoring
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Compassionate approach to family-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns
• Monitor, assess, and respond to the evolving clinical status of neonates
• Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and assist with specialized procedures
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide emotional support and education to families throughout the infant’s NICU stay
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough patient records
• Adhere to established protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements
