Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of one year experience in a Level II/III NICU preferred
  • BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficient with NICU technologies, equipment, and electronic health records

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV lines or specialized equipment
  • Support physicians and neonatologists in executing care plans and procedures
  • Educate and guide parents and caregivers regarding infant care and condition updates
  • Document all patient interventions and observations accurately and promptly
  • Collaborate with respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and other specialists as needed
  • Maintain a safe, supportive environment for infants and families
