Deliver advanced neonatal care as a critical member of a high-performing NICU team. In this specialized role, you will support infants with complex medical needs, providing expert clinical interventions and personalized support to both patients and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage high acuity situations and respond effectively under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to neonates with a range of acute conditions
- Monitor, assess, and document vital signs, medication administration, and patient progress
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate and support families throughout the patient’s NICU stay, ensuring they feel informed and reassured
- Implement care plans, perform procedures, and respond to emergencies with precision and compassion
- Maintain meticulous and timely patient records and adhere to all protocols and safety standards
- Contribute to a positive environment by mentoring newer staff and supporting team development
