Registered Nurse - NICU - Garland, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent NICU experience
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Strong knowledge of neonatal assessment, medication administration, and ventilator management
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill neonates according to established protocols
• Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care plans for neonatal patients
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive treatment
• Educate and support families, providing updates and advocating for patient needs
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in medical records
