Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Demonstrated expertise in NICU nursing care
  • Recent experience in a Level II or III NICU setting is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with neonatal equipment and technology
  • Proven ability to assess, monitor, and respond to evolving clinical situations in neonates
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
  • BLS and NRP certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill and premature newborns
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and support ventilated infants with meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive and timely care
  • Educate and update families on their child’s progress, showing sensitivity and empathy at all times
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation of observations, interventions, and outcomes
  • Actively contribute to a safe, developmentally supportive environment for infants and their families
  • Respond efficiently to emergent neonatal needs as part of a multidisciplinary team
