Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing (NY license preferred or compact eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Adaptability in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, specialized care to critically ill newborns and support their families
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams in a collaborative setting
• Monitor infants for changes and document progress in accordance with best practices
• Educate parents on newborn care, post-discharge instructions, and available resources
