Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00pm – 7:00am
  • Weekend rotation every other weekend (minimum)
  • No on-call required
  • Holiday coverage: Travelers work 75% of observed holidays
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a NICU setting
  • BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Proficiency in:
    • Basic ventilator management
    • Central line and tracheostomy care
    • G-tube management and gavage feeding
    • Pre/post-surgical and blood transfusion care
    • Basic breastfeeding and bottle feeding support
    • Infant venipuncture

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience with first-time travelers welcomed
  • Academic/teaching hospital environment exposure

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to neonates from 23 weeks gestation through term, including infants with surgical and complex medical needs
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for charting and care coordination
  • Collaborate with a robust team—including NAs and two Charge RNs per shift—while floating to General Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent Pediatrics, or Pediatric Hem/Onc as needed
  • Follow established protocols and maintain high standards of patient safety
