Step into an essential role providing advanced care for newborns in a highly specialized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. Skilled registered nurses with NICU expertise are sought to deliver exceptional, compassionate care to high-acuity infants and their families for a contract assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency with neonatal assessment, medication administration, and complex IV therapy
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to collaborate closely with interdisciplinary medical teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, continuous nursing care for premature and critically ill infants
  • Assess, monitor, and document clinical status and progress of neonates
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment, including incubators and ventilators
  • Coordinate family education and emotional support, fostering understanding and comfort
  • Administer medications, manage feeding plans, and perform life-saving interventions as required
  • Participate in ongoing plan-of-care meetings, quality assurance, and compliance with all safety protocols

$1,772 - $1,939/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
