Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Successful completion of a recognized Nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level III/IV NICU
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Strong assessment, planning, and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and float to departments within competency
• Effective communicator and team collaborator

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing functions and implement delegated medical tasks according to state standards
• Perform health assessments, plan and evaluate care in a NICU setting
• Deliver patient education, counseling, and supportive therapy
• Document all aspects of care according to current guidelines
• Collaborate, supervise, and delegate as appropriate
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, making referrals as needed

• Flexibly float to other departments or take on-call duties as needed
