Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum one year of recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Strong knowledge of neonatal chronic and acute illnesses, ventilator management, and neonatal assessments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver critical care to premature and high-risk newborns according to evidence-based protocols
- Administer medication, manage intravenous lines, and monitor vital signs using advanced NICU technology
- Communicate clearly with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate and support families, providing updates, resources, and emotional support during hospitalization
- Participate actively in rounds and the development and implementation of care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely health records and comply with all regulatory and facility standards
