Registered Nurse - NICU in Madera, CA

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year NICU nursing experience
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations
• Compassionate approach to patient and family care

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to critically ill neonates, including routine monitoring, assessments, and interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Support and educate families regarding the condition and care of their newborn
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
• Accurately document patient progress and vital information into medical records
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
