Step into a key nursing role providing critical care to newborns as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of one year’s recent experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting
  • Current BLS and NRP certification (additional certifications preferred)
  • Proficiency in neonatal assessment, monitoring, and documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Compassion and resilience in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, specialized nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns
  • Monitor vitals, administer medication, and manage ventilatory or supportive therapies
  • Accurately document assessments, care plans, and responses within electronic medical records
  • Partner with physicians, neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and others to create individualized treatment strategies
  • Educate and support families, offering updates and guidance throughout their child’s NICU stay
  • Adhere to infection control policies and uphold safety standards at all times
