Qualifications:

• Active RN license required (unencumbered and in good standing)
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting
• Current BLS and NRP certifications (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Proficient clinical assessment and critical thinking skills specific to neonatal populations
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills and family-centered care approach
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic unit

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to premature and critically ill newborns according to established protocols and individualized care plans
• Monitor vital signs, IV infusions, ventilators, and specialized equipment; promptly recognize and address changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, following safety and quality standards
• Perform detailed documentation and ensure regulatory, hospital, and unit compliance at all times
• Offer emotional support and patient education to families, fostering effective communication and trust
• Participate actively in unit meetings, quality improvement projects, and continuing education seminars
