Registered Nurse - NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) - Mckinney, Texas

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Level II or Level III NICU environment
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Exceptional assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of neonatal medications, ventilators, and specialized equipment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to premature and critically ill newborns in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide respiratory support as needed
• Clearly communicate with neonatologists, physicians, and family members regarding patient status and care plans
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and progress using electronic health records
• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Educate and support families about neonatal care and discharge planning
