Registered Nurse - NICU in Mckinney, TX

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Neonatal Intensive Care (RN-NICU) for a contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and specialized care to critically ill newborns, collaborating closely with neonatologists, medical teams, and families to deliver optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to infants in the NICU, ensuring ongoing assessment and detailed documentation.
• Operate and monitor life-support equipment and administer medications as prescribed.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and specialized procedures as required by patient condition.
• Communicate effectively with families, offering support and education about neonatal health, care plans, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license.
• Proven experience in a Level II or III NICU setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
