Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel contract (assignments with variable shifts based on facility needs)
  • On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
  • Opportunity to float to other departments within scope

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license and eligibility to practice in Colorado
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a Level III/IV NICU setting
  • BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to float to similar units as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform and delegate nursing and medical functions to the highest standards
  • Continually assess, plan, implement, and evaluate neonatal care
  • Provide comprehensive health teaching, counseling, and support to families
  • Develop, review, and monitor patient therapy and treatment plans
  • Ensure precise and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer patients for additional care as necessary
  • Promote facility mission, vision, and values through compassionate patient-centered care
