Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active RN license
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a Level II or Level III NICU
  • Current certifications in BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Solid understanding of neonatal assessment, interventions, and technical monitoring equipment
  • Effective communication skills to educate and reassure families
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position with flexible scheduling options

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate nursing interventions for neonates in intensive care
  • Accurately monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators or other advanced equipment
  • Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals in developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional and educational support to families navigating the NICU experience
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold safety and infection control standards at all times
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, escalating care as necessary
