Step into a vital nursing role providing outstanding care for newborns in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate Registered Nurse with specialized NICU expertise, ready to contribute effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Recent experience working in a Level II or Level III NICU
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
  • Strong assessment and clinical skills specific to neonatal populations
  • Detailed knowledge of NICU equipment, medication administration, and evidence-based protocols
  • Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based care to critically ill or premature infants in collaboration with neonatologists and advanced practice providers
  • Closely monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient status, and intervene promptly
  • Administer medications, fluids, and nutrition tailored to neonatal needs
  • Provide ongoing support and education to families regarding infant care, hospital procedures, and discharge planning
  • Document all care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records
  • Adhere strictly to infection control, medication safety, and hospital policies within the NICU
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and unit-based quality improvement initiatives

  • Contract assignment
