Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts, 7PM start
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience
- PALs certification required
- Advanced knowledge in independently managing vented patients in Peds ICU using Servo-U ventilator
- Skilled in setting up and managing heliox therapy (invasive and non-invasive)
- Expertise in non-invasive ventilation: biPAP and CPAP, Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high frequency ventilation
- Familiarity with Epic documentation system
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary care to neonates in critical condition
- Manage advanced respiratory therapies for high-acuity patients
- Support and educate patient families during challenging NICU stays
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies, dress code (Hunter Green), and maintain patient safety standards
