Registered Nurse - NICU in Sanger, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active RN license.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Level II or Level III NICU.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; additional neonatal or pediatric certifications preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
• Compassionate communication with patients’ families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to critically ill neonates, including assessments, interventions, and monitoring of vital signs.
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Operate specialized NICU equipment such as incubators, monitors, and ventilators; maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate and support families, keeping them informed of care plans and changes.
• Uphold infection control protocols and ensure consistent compliance with hospital safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
